In 1997, The Boy Who Lived came into the world. Audiences were thrust into the magical world of Harry Potter. Readers grew up with the characters and saw the evolution of a series from the start. Decades later, my love for this series has done nothing but grow.
2019 is proving to be the year of domestic travel for me so I'm back again with a quick overview of our 72-hours in the Denver! My partner and I celebrated our first anniversary together in the “Mile-High City”. We wanted this weekend to be about food and fun so we didn’t have a set agenda.
People are always quick to ask for recommendations when visiting, so I kind of designed my ideal weekend (Thursday-Sunday) for first-time tourists in the spring/summer. I am so happy that we blew into town for this trip, not only was it relaxing but there were tons of activities for any interest we had! This city, rich in history and culture, is definitely one that we’ll be adventuring back to.
This city was quaint but bustling, the people were courteous but not nosy, there were people from every walk of life and we met plenty of people who lived in Victoria because it's the calmer version of Vancouver, BC.
There is so much beautiful history in this city! Turning every corner I felt like I could have been stepping back in time; between all the historic buildings, the architecture, and the cobblestone streets, at times it feels like you're in a painting.
